S.M.A.R.T. System

The S.M.A.R.T. system is a framework for setting goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. This system is helpful because it helps us focus and reevaluate your goals as needed. The five aspects of S.M.A.R.T. goals are:

  • Specific: Goals should have a desired outcome that is clearly understood. We are specific in working with our customers and clients to succeed at their expectations. Our communication is key to our success.
  • Measurable: Goals need to have a quantifiable objective so that you can track progress. Accountability and measurability are what you will find with us. Mapping goals and reviewing them as we move throughout the year.
  • Achievable: Goals need to be realistic to maintain the enthusiasm to try to achieve. Together, we will create achievable and realistic goals with our clients and customers. Categorizing steps to achieve short- and long-term goals.
  • Relevant: Goals should be aligned with the mission of the company. Don’t set goals just as an exercise for something to do. One way to determine if the goal is relevant is to define the critical benefit to the organization.
  • Time-bound: Goals should have a deadline. “A GOAL without a deadline is just a dream.” – Robert Herjavec. Knowing our timing for category reviews, new product introductions, promotions and the entire portal process is necessary to achieve goals.
